Yea, well, the week after, I sent them an email to ask them if they made up their minds yet since I needed to know my sched for this semester. That was 3 weeks ago. I already knew the answer from the lack of a reply, but finally they have the decency to respond.:

Leon enjoyed working with you and had trouble making up his mind, but I felt the other candidate taught in a way that Leon would better absorb. Anywho - yea, they clearly are stupid. They probably chose a fucking grad student to teach their retarded 11 year old. Ah well - at least I made 70 bucks in the process. But seriously, it's like hiring a PhD in math to teach a kid addition - a 3rd grade teacher would do it much better b/c the PhD would be too fucking bored to teach that crap and probably wouldn't even know how. I remember how I learned and what issues I had so I can apply that. The idiot parents are just too proud and have their heads in the clouds about their son and reality.
