This place is as dead as Michael's sex life.

*posts something*

Today, I spent an hour researching an answer for a question that was part of my English homework.

In the end, after consulting Wikipedia, Google, and both my parents (one of whom is an English teacher), I determined that there was no answer, and so I made something up.

God bless our incredibly broken school systems.

Also, to address the topic, I'm not particularly concerned about traffic at the moment, and I don't think anyone should be, least of all people who aren't signing the hosting checks. So long as TFN is up I think people know where to find it.

I'm just gonna say other than Scorp, Eel, and the occasional GameCobra post -- the DSB has been pretty quiet <.<;

That cause DR isn't around,and when she isn't around Dia doesn't post. And RL where ever that damned red feline is at ain't posting maybe I should set out some traps to see if I can lure one of those 3 out of hiding. *goes off in search for bait for traps.*

What was the question? Being an English major, I'm sure I can answer it!

It's a comprehension question for part of an essay (or all of the essay, I'm not sure) we had to read. I could post it but it wouldn't make any sense unless you looked up and read the essay. <_<

Apparently, no one else "got" the question either. I ended up having to fill in the people who were supposed to be doing a presentation on the essay, wherein they'd answer the question.

I cannot -_- hard enough. Not nearly hard enough.

Is this high school? I remember doing presentations on essays; I remember doing so while pretending to be a Marxist and writing long droning poems about the end of the capitalist-bourgeois alliance at the hands of the proletarian uprising.

Anyhow, what essay was this?

College.

The Death Of A Moth by Annie Dillard

I _think_ it's an essay, at least. I can't actually find any information about it. <_<

Hm, so English classes in college are no more advanced than high school English? Good thing I don't have to take any. (I'm not really an English major.)

I'll attempt to find the essay. I don't think I'll read it too carefully though.
