| Level: 43 Editor | The P.I. is returning for at least one episode, he showed up in the next episode preview. Thoughts: -I like how Thirteen had like 3 lines the whole episode. It was a welcome improvement over last week's episode. -foreman why are you not smart anymore goddammit even kutner is kicking your ass -This Wilson subplot needs to end. Like, now. It's stupid. So very, very stupid. At this point I don't even care how it ends, with him returning or not returning or sorta returning, whatever, but it is stupid and has been stupid from the get-go, sorta like the Stacy arc. -The P.I. is pretty cool. Not sure if he'd work as a regular, though. -There were actual laugh out loud moments in this episode! Which is another welcome change since last episode was seriously lacking in that department. --- "I'm not perverted! I'm just immensely fascinated!" ~Lisa Yadomaru, Bleach "Speed is... weight. | Level: 43 Editor | Also, calling it now, Wilson is the villain of Season 5. Season 1 had Vogler. Season 2 had Stacy. Season 3 had Tritter. Season 4 had Cutthroat Bitch. This is the next logical progression. --- "I'm not perverted! I'm just immensely fascinated!" ~Lisa Yadomaru, Bleach "Speed is... weight. | Level: 43 Editor | Oh dear god. It all makes sense now. http://www.tvsquad.com/2008/08/06/more-about-that-house-spinoff/ I'm not sure how I feel about this. --- "I'm not perverted! | Level: 49 Liberal Arts Major | -I like how Thirteen had like 3 lines the whole episode. It was a welcome improvement over last week's episode. Those lines still sucked. "Class is over!" Yeah, Thirteen is a terrible character. -This Wilson subplot needs to end. Like, now. It's stupid. So very, very stupid. At this point I don't even care how it ends, with him returning or not returning or sorta returning, whatever, but it is stupid and has been stupid from the get-go, sorta like the Stacy arc. ...and the Vogler arc and the Tritter arc. Story arcs in this show tend to suck, although this one is probably the worst of them yet. Wilson went from an amusing character to someone who angrily competes with Thirteen to earn your ire in every scene. He doesn't even make sense. Maybe it would have been better for House to drive himself home, huh? Feeding a Vicodin addiction for years was no biggie. Being the designated driver - that was the straw that broke the camel's back. -The P.I. is pretty cool. Not sure if he'd work as a regular, though. The P.I. is more annoying than cool. Like Wilson if Wilson were to take a liking to angel dust. (This may have already happened.) -There were actual laugh out loud moments in this episode! Indeed. This is the next logical progression. Maybe. We could also have a surprise bad guy that gets House and Wilson back together. Let's see, we've had a rich black fellow, a white lawyer chick an angry white cop with a troubled past and nothing to lose, and a really mean doctoress who steals Wilson's heart. The next in this series is... one of Cuddy's Jewish boyfriends who turns out to be a nefarious [ http://www.tvsquad.com/2008/08/06/more-about-that-house-spinoff/ The Lone Gunmen, anyone? ___ ~ Ogordemir ~ "The sciences have hitherto harmed us little; but some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new dark age." ~ H.P Lovecraft, The Call of Cthulhu Message last edited by Ogordemir99 on 9/27/2008 at 12:27:26 AM |

| Level: 43 Editor | ...and the Vogler arc and the Tritter arc. Those were (arguably) promising at the very beginning, though. The Tritter arc became crappy when it started dragging Wilson down (I AM SEEING A VAGUE PARALLEL HERE BUT I'M SURE IT IS COINCIDENTAL), and the Vogler arc was never truly bad, though Vogler as a character was stupid as sin. --- "I'm not perverted! | Level: 49 Liberal Arts Major | The virtue of the Wilson arc is that it has no promise whatsoever. No expectations! It's possible that the horrible plot we have to suffer through now will end impressively. As for the Vogler arc, it wasn't as bad as Stacy or Tritter or this, yeah, but it was still pretty stupid. The difference was it didn't suffocate the plot of every episode in the arc, so we were only exposed to the walking fail that was Vogler in small doses. And sometimes the interplay between House and Vogler was amusing. ___ ~ Ogordemir ~ "The sciences have hitherto harmed us little; but some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new dark age." ~ H.P Lovecraft, The Call of Cthulhu |
