The last 15 minutes or so of the last episode never happened, at least not as they appeared. When House insulted Cuddy last episode, she left the office. House stopping her and asking her to help him was another delusion of House's. So obviously nothing from that point involving Cuddy was real.
House didn't catch it until he confronted Cuddy in the last 15 minutes of this episode when Cuddy confirms it (unintentionally).
I can't believe I never trusted my intuition with that. I immediately had red flags go up in my mind last episode in that scene because the colors were wrong. They changed shades back and forth in that scene. At first I was like, "Something's up here." but later went, "No, don't worry about it, it's nothing important."
