It hasn't gone well so far. I apparently have to take an art or architectural history course to fulfill a fine and performing arts requirement from high school.

Sort of. I don't fulfill the university's requirements as explained here, specifically the half year of "fine, visual, or performing" arts.

It should be noted that I've been learning and playing piano since the third grade and spent three years in band playing the flute (though I got sick of this right after eighth grade, so it doesn't appear on my transcript). Apparently though I lack some exposure to "fine, visual, or performing" arts that would be remedied by two and a half months of a lower-division art history course. College is magical!

I still have to take 2 history classes, a visual arts, and econ 101. I'm a Junior with 24 science/math credit hours this semester and will follow this path for the next 2 years. Fuck humanities.
