Ok this is gonna be a on going topic, where anyone that wants to bitch rant an rave about something can so I'm gonna start it off with something I heard on the way to jury duty this morning(Total waste of my time but that's a rant for another time) I was listening to my fav morning radio talk show John boy&billy an the big show a comedy talk show The format consists of talk segments intermixed with music, contests and skit-based humor. Anyways they had this comedian on that they have had several times an they got to talking bout our sorry ass nigger president(go head call me a fucking racist I don't give a shit)

But he made the comment that now a days you can't say anything bad about the president with out being called a racist and it's true, he said that when bush sr was in office there was stuff he did that the comedian didn't like an he said so no one called him a Racist, same when Clinton was in office, same as when bush jr was in office. But now that obama is in office if you say anything bad about him your considered a racist. HOW FUCKED UP IS THAT SHIT?HUH? now why is all of a sudden considered ok to be pro president when just 2 short years ago if you where pro president you where politically incorrect. it's like James Gregory said this morning this Political Correctness BULLSHIT is gonna destroy this country.

Yeah there's sort of a difference between constructive criticism and "our sorry ass nigger president" in terms of which one makes you seem racist.

I'm sorry I was wrong He is a sorry ass Highly educated nigger, but is still a sorry ass nigger. I got no problem with black folks I get along fine with most of them there are a few of them in my neighborhood 1 family lives right across the street from me(never speak to them as they keep to themselves) then we got another family at a angle from the edge of my front yard nice family to got 2 boys an a daughter the dad works on base an has a few rental properties that he owns an takes good care of, the mom I'm not sure what she does, there oldest son is in the military an quite a great guy to there other son looks like the typical stereotypical black man these days with the ghetto look but is actually not a bad guy(just needs to pull his pants up an keep them up).

I have also worked with quite a few black folks over the years that are just as nice an hard workin as can be. But it's the ones that wanna be out committing crimes, going around fuckin any woman they can an makin more babies an al slingin drugs that piss me off. They dress like trash an act like trash but they got gold driping from there mouths necks ears etc an pulling out wads of cash. an the women are just as bad as the men they going around constantly gettin there hair done dripping in gold drivin some expensive ass car but are telling welfare they ain't got no money so they are gettin welfare, foodstamps, wic an medicare an whatever other benifts they can squeeze out of the goverment.

I guess I'll put this topic to use:

So I'm just browsing facebook when I see a comment that a grad student I TA electronics with posted on my gf's sister's wall. I'm like: woah, I've never actually seen his profile, I wonder what it might contain. ...this: http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-ak-sf2p/v54/65/57/2704590/n2704590_32552612_7927.jpg
Now, I'm a reasonable guy who doesn't give a fuck if people are gay and whatnot since what people do in the bedroom is not my business, but.....wtf.... That creeped the shit out of me, so I IMed my gf's sister (who 'dated' him for a while before he dumped her like a sack of garbage and she's still friends with him for some reason) with the same comment. She told me that's why she was attracted to him. I had already known that the guy shaves his legs and doesn't wear any underwear under the ubertight pants he has, but...

Anyway, we get into a gay (no pun intended) discussion about gay rights or some fucking unrelated shit and the difference between gender and sexuality. Now, my point was this: that pic weirded the fuck out of me. Mainly b/c I know the guy. Not b/c he's dressed like a prostitute and has a "fuck me" look on his face.

So she tells my gf and I have to go into an even longer discussion. It's really lame and boring so I'm not gonna go into the details, but she then said:
"At this point, I don't want to see you tomorrow." So at that point, I'm thinking that if she's really this pissed off about some random-ass political disagreement, I might as well take it all the way, b/c it'll def not work out longterm if she's that stuck up. So I go full douche to see her response. I actually do get pissed off at her b/c her arguments boil down to: "you're a close minded dumbass, fuck you". She never even took any point I made into any consideration. So I was actually hoping for a "I don't want to see you ever." finish, but unfortunately all I got in the end was a:

[1:27:50 AM] J5v29 says: whatever
[1:27:57 AM] J5v29 says: You still don't understand what I'm saying
[1:28:03 AM] J5v29 says: I'm going to bed
[1:28:04 AM] J5v29 says: good night

If only she were saying anything to understand...

tl;dr: I see creepy-ass pic of my cross-dressing TA partner; I mention to my gf's sister who's his ex-lay; drama llama pays her and her sister a visit; she doesn't break up with me so I can't go bang hoes at a party this weekend

Tigger (yes everyone/Tengu I know it's spelled Tiger):

This is a discussion I can hardly imagine you're equipped to have. Actually, I can't imagine any sort of "point" you may have made that wouldn't in fact boil down to your being a close-minded dumbass. I mean, picture a guy trying to argue the irreconcilability of quantum theory and general relativity means "like, dude, it's all just a bug in the Matrix, man" and you should get a pretty good picture of what you must have sounded like. And I can say this without even knowing anything you said!

Also

drama llama pays her and her sister a visit

sounds like a reference to menstruation.

Tengu & Kenri:

Yeah there's sort of a difference between constructive criticism and "our sorry ass nigger president" in terms of which one makes you seem racist.

Yeah, but that's rather exogenous to the complaint here. As for the subsequent rant about black stereotypes, despite the dubious language Tengu uses on some level, somewhere deep down in there, he has a point, a point which he of course demolishes in likening Obama to proverbial welfare leeches and bling hoarders, but a point nonetheless. Though I would suggest the conditions he attributes to black gentlepeople are not at their root attributable to anything endemic to "black" culture but rather to the poverty that a large proportion of the race presently confronts (cf. for instance the stratification between the above hoarders and leeches in other largely-poor populations) - and years of awareness and activism by people like Al Sharpton haven't managed to change all that, which is either a testament to how ineffective that sort of thing is (which may be true in part) or evidence that the problem is to a great extent structural (by which I mean legal) in nature.

I mean, put yourself in the place of a young black man who has to choose between joining a gang and turning over loads of cash dealing drugs plus naturally having more sex than he knows what to do with versus continuing to go to school and studying super cool stuff like triangles. Ask yourself: would you choose the triangles? It's not like teenagers understand the long-run implications of their decision to start "slinging shards" (thanks Breaking Bad!), and hell, for some of them there aren't many downsides at all. And if you're addicted to heroin, what incentive do you have to get sober and find a job when you can squat in some public housing project and trade your welfare checks and/or body for drugs instead? Toss in some poststructuralist nattery about capitalism and fetishes and you've got ever more evidence against the cultural origin theory.

Culture, then, is the filter through which all these things are expressed. Drug runners develop a "soldier" culture, for instance. The use of dialect (i.e. variations on AAVE) increases because the culture is largely insular - and it's fairly counterproductive to mark yourself as an outsider in a gang situation by speaking a nonnative dialect. Besides, when a lot of the influential people you know (by which I mean mob bosses) are suspicious of white people, you probably don't want to speak a dialect they identify with being white. And so on. Basically, so long as the current regulatory and statutory cultures persist, this culture will persist right along with them. I guess crazy racist demagogues aren't too far off when they say this is all white peoples' fault, mirite?

he said that when bush sr was in office there was stuff he did that the comedian didn't like an he said so no one called him a Racist, same when Clinton was in office, same as when bush jr was in office.

Is... is the comedian black? Otherwise this makes no sense. Why would anyone call a white person racist against another white person?

But now that obama is in office if you say anything bad about him your considered a racist. HOW FUCKED UP IS THAT SHIT?

Not very, since it's bullshit. Sure, crazy racist people might reflect that racism on you, but they'd do that anyway. I have yet to encounter any spurious allegations of racism from a reputable source when the topic of conversation is, say, budget proposals. But I have watched Glenn Beck call Obama a racist on national television. Funny how that works.

now why is all of a sudden considered ok to be pro president when just 2 short years ago if you where pro president you where politically incorrect.

This isn't accurate at all. Certainly, supporting Bush would make you persona non grata in a variety of settings, and it wasn't a popular stance in the media, but I challenge you to provide a single instance where political correctness crops up anywhere in relation to ones opinion of the president. The very idea that there is a universal "politically correct" choice for president is part and parcel of an Orwellian alternate reality delusion that is gradually displacing certain individuals' grasp on reality - this in a nation where the most recent wet sock GOP presidential candidate still got almost 50% of the national vote. On the other hand, if you think you're going to win friends in the Student Marxism Club by actively supporting Bush only to turn around and attribute your presumably surprising failure to do so to political correctness, you're pretty much an idiot.

EDIT: Come to think of it, this functions as an indictment against a broad array of allegations of political correctness gone awry. To put it simply, if there's no legal force at work, complaining about political correctness itself mirrors political correctness: in both cases, the complaint is against other people having opinions that don't happen to be yours.

If anything, Al Sharpton/Jesse Jackson have done more harm then good, because they're always screaming "DA WHITE MAN BE PUTTIN' US DOWN!" and "IT RACISM!" and just generally playing the race card.

It's true that this reinforces a number of cultural attributes that undermine attempts to undo the ghetto or whatever (e.g. entitlement, paranoia about "white" culture), but a number of activists are also harping on about how people need jobs and rap is the devil and wear your hats forwards and so on. It doesn't really matter since the legal structure only empowers the negative side anyway.

Very true,I'm surpised neither 1 of them stupid SoB's has gotten wind of this black preacher down here that has been tryin to get my old high school to change there mascot from the demon to something else. He protested outside the school 3 times an got arrested twice then stopped for a while an we thought that he had finally gotten the clue, but he was just lickin his wounds an is now back still trying this time he is trying through official channels by going through the BoE. What the stupid nigger don't realize (an yes he is a stupid Yankee nigger to.) that the school board ain't gonna change the mascot because to many of the local politicians are alumni of my high school hell our Governor is a alumni an he even said leave it the fuck alone(bout the only damned thing he has done right this term, but thats a rant for another day)so the BoE ain't gonna change the mascot not to mention it was named after a historical WW2 fighter squadron nicknamed the screamin demons so we took the name the WRHS demons when the school opened back in 1940 something.

Yeah but you never hear about those guys.

This is quite a hasty generalization. I remember Bill Cosby gave a speech amounting to "get off your lazy asses" a few years ago, which received a fair amount of press. Though I must confess I don't really stay up to date on what random activists are pontificating about lately unless they happen to look and smell like Glenn Beck.
