| Level: 43 Editor | -Would be written by me. -Would be "first reply wins" style because it's the only thing I think would be at all viable here. -Would have some kind of rudimentary battle system, maybe? -If you are interested and want to know something about the story/setting/premise, post saying so and I'll probably post something about the story/setting/premise. -If more than like 2 people are interested in this I'll probably do it. gogogo --- "There's a pony in the shop, but don't buy it. I'd probably be interested either way, but sure: this. --- xp1337: Don't you wish there was a spell-checker that told you when you a word out? |

| Level: 43 Editor | The basic premise that I have so far (which is subject to change) is: 12 people, including the character we would be "playing" as, wake up without their memories. They all instinctively know that they have 24 hours left to live, but they don't know why they know that, or how they can be so certain about it. However... the group is actually 13 people strong. The 13th person is the main antagonist. But they're going to be acting just like everyone else and biding their time until the 24 hours are up. The goal is obviously to identify this person and stop them. There's more to it than that, even at this early stage, but I'm hesitant to give anything else away. >_> --- "There's a pony in the shop, but don't buy it. | Level: 49 Liberal Arts Major | Can I be the antagonist? People tell me I antagonize them all the time. (I'm in I guess. Really, why wouldn't I be?) ___ ~ Ogordemir ~ "The sciences have hitherto harmed us little; but some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new dark age." ~ H.P Lovecraft, The Call of Cthulhu |

| Level: 43 Editor | Can I be the antagonist? People tell me I antagonize them all the time. I'm going to say no to this for two reasons. >_> First because I've tried to gauge interest on a text RPG where everyone would have their own characters before and nobody cared. And second because I feel that, by having everyone share one character and making the first response win any given choice, this has a much, much larger chance of not dying off due to inactivity. If it's halfway successful we can try something more ambitious later though! Probably! --- "There's a pony in the shop, but don't buy it. | Level: 49 Liberal Arts Major | Well, I was thinking more along the lines of... I would be the antagonist. Get it? Because I'm twiddling my mustache and laughing maniacally right now? (It was actually set-up to get the "antagonize" pun in there. You don't get a chance like that every day you know!) Also I wouldn't know what to do in a text RPG. I haven't done one of those since I tried to run one semi-successfully on the YSB or DWSB. Maybe both. ___ ~ Ogordemir ~ "The sciences have hitherto harmed us little; but some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new dark age." ~ H.P Lovecraft, The Call of Cthulhu |

This still beats my track record with the things. <_< I don't think I've ever tried a CYOA before though, so hopefully it won't be a total disaster! --- "There's a pony in the shop, but don't buy it.
