Possible reasons:

- To get to the other side.

- Because 0.999... = 1.

- Linkification killed your family.

You can get Linkfication for Firefox 4 on the official Linkification site (not on Mozilla's for some reason)

And if you're like me at all, you can move the tabs back below the address bar where they belong.
Seriously, if I wanted top-tabs, I'd use Chrome.

I honestly don't know.

It's supposed to be faster, and I guess it is marginally faster, but it is so much uglier. SO MUCH.

It is marginally faster (and I guess more secure), except one downside... If you shutdown or reboot (which I shutdown every night), initial start-up of Firefox 4 is tediously long.

While there is a third party plugin one can get that essentially remedies this, it is rather inexcusable.

Well since I wouldn't be using it as my primary browser that downside is pretty much a dealbreaker. FF 3.x it is!
