| Well, I've acquired a severe dislike of fireworks over the years because one of my dogs is absolutely terrified of them (and other loud noises like thunder.) I mean, now she's old enough that I think some of her hearing is gone so it doesn't affect her nearly as much, but that's my reason for not liking fireworks. I have nothing against the holiday itself, just fireworks. I also don't like thunder for that reason. Rain? I might actually like rain more than most weather. But thunder? Nope.

| So I'm in Alaska where it is daylight for like 22/24 hours. Of course that didn't stop some bozos from using fireworks that nobody could see in the daylight. Thanks guys. I hate loud noises so much.

Fireworks are illegal in Seattle, but that didn't stop people from setting them off. In the extremely populous University District. At 12.
I hate fireworks.
