While the trailer looks badass,but I gotta agree with kel. I mean it's bad enough they made a smurfs movie granted katty perry wearing a outfit like smurfette is hot as hell I don't think the smurfs need a movie neither does winne the pooh or the muppets whats next the snorks or god forbid a carebears or my little pony movie.

A movie about the Smurfs, Snorks, Carebears, My Little Pony and such are all fine, as long as they're kept animated. The problem comes from the fact they're made LIVE ACTION or a half breed half animated, half live action.

In fact, I'm actually looking forward to seeing the new Winnie the Pooh movie.

Though, one thing about the Smurfs movie that makes no fucking sense... They got some jackass to play Brainy Smurf who sounds like a 3 year old kid who got kicked in their non-existant balls.
When the ORIGINAL voice actor for Brainy Smurf from the original 80's Smurf series still lives. Why would they not get him? >_>

I'm a valued consumer with money! Trailers for movies tell us which ones are good enough to spend said money to see. Context, acting and storyline are all irrelevant, if it has a cool trailer it must be a cool movie. Go see this thing.

Actually I may have, and I don't remember it.

I never really liked "kid" or "family" movies when I was a kid. I was more into old horror/alien invasion films when I was a kid. Them!, Tarantula, War of the Worlds, The Fly and the like >_>

However, note I didn't say I had a thing against half-breeds.
I meant what I hated were live action or half breed remakes of old cartoons. They're just terrible 90% of the time.
