Ontario has almost 12 million people
While Nova Scotia has a little under 1 million.
Ontario has 12 times the amounts of people.
So yeah, naturally crime is going to be more serious.

Yes, but what i'm trying to get that at though is it sucks in my opinion when crime is a reason not to visit Canada when outside where i'm at, but hearing the reputation that Canada has with how peaceful it is, it just sucks to hear about it, that's all. Crime in Canada is short and it sucks that i still hear it happen from other people, but life is life.
Also, Manitoba i hear is another place thanks to my cousin. Just asked him as well. Arrrrrrrgh!

Canada may be a peaceful country, but thinking it's "better" than, say, the US in regards to crime is foolish and naive.
Edit: The only difference between Canada and the US is that Canada is a fucking pussy about dealing about with these rapists and murderers. Whereas some states in the US execute them.
