It's a Korean webcomic about an enormous tower and people trying to climb it. Each floor has one or more tests, and if you reach floor 143, you're said to receive whatever your heart desires -- money, power, fame, anything.

It has killer fight scenes, but stands sets itself apart from other shounen and shounen-esque stories by making the fights really ****in' smart. The closest comparison I could make would probably be to Yu Yu Hakusho, particularly during the Taboo Games mini-arc, but with the characters' powers being closer to s-CRY-ed. Part of this is because fighting is treated kind of like a sport; rather than characters having distinct classes, it's more like they have positions. Fishermen work as the backbone of the team, drawing in foes and fighting with overwhelming power. Spear Throwers provide support by attacking from afar. Light Bearers provide light sources, information, and communication; they allow their team to function as a cohesive whole. Etc. The cast is huge and rotates often, but unlike something like Bleach, almost every character has skills that make them useful and no one character or group of characters ever dominates things completely.

Despite being shounen-esque, the actual story's even better than the fighting. Nearly every single chapter ends either on an explicit cliffhanger or just with enough intrigue to make you want to read the next immediately. There's political intrigue, betrayals and reunions, personal grudges and rivalries, two different subversive groups, and mysterious beings from outside the tower called Irregulars who are said to bring chaos whenever they force their way in. Every character is multifaceted enough that you can't predict how they'll react in a given situation, yet their actions always make sense given their character. That doesn't even mention the actual tests, which are never as simple as you, or the characters taking them, are led to believe.

The art also starts out really good and quickly becomes amazing, for whatever that's worth to you.
