MLG Halo 3 players - A pack of cry babies?

While playing Halo 3, I decided to venture out of Lone Wolves and Squad Battle playlists to check out the Hardcore playlist, which (Apparently) are a group of playlists that are setup EXACTLY like the ones the MLG uses.
And in it, it tells you go to a website for some more information on MLG playing.
Link: http://www.mlgpro.com/playlist

This made me LOL so hard because 99% of the changes just seem like a pack of whiny cry babies screaming "OMGDONT WANT DAT!!! DAT SUX!!!!!!!"
I shall now review the stupid whiny parts.

The end result of creating these competitive settings, we hope, is that the best team will win (the one with the greatest individual skill, game knowledge and teamwork), not the luckiest.

This is a major lol because most of the changes REWARD the lucky player.
Not much to say here besides that, also note that this is marked with 'N1', when you see N1 pop up again later in this, it relates to this specific line.

Lastly, the Battle Rifle requires more aiming skill because you must pull the trigger as opposed to the spray-and-charge nature of the Assault Rifle.

Haha... Who actually thinks this, honestly? The Battle Rifle is one of the, if not THE EASIEST weapons in the game to aim and kill someone with. Also, it is perfectly capable of "spray and charge", like the Assault rifle.

This does, however, in some cases require some unfamiliar changes, such as altering the location of a power-up or removing a particular weapon.

This basically boils down to the following: EVERYFUCKINGWEAPON EXCEPT 4 WEAPONS AND 2 GRENADES ARE DISABLED.
The ONLY weapons that spawn in MLG are: The Sniper Rifle (Human variant, no Beam Rifle), Assault Rifle, Rocket Launcher and Battle Rifle.
The only Grenades that spawn are the Fragmentation Grenade, and the Plasma Grenade.
[Note: Actual experience comes from watching MLG games, I haven't actually played MLG because they require the Legendary DLC maps, of which I do not have. Kinda wish I did, no matter how retarded these "rules" are, Team SWAT sounds fun.]

Many weapons, items and settings have changed for very specific reasons. For example, any weapon that may create an inconsistent result (Hammer, Spike Grenades, Flamethrower, etc.), although fun, have been removed from competitive play to minimize randomness.

...Right.
Spike Grenades are removed to minimize randomness. Yet... They keep the Plasma Grenade?
This is a big 'lol?' because the Spike Grenade is largely USELESS unless you get a 'sticky' hit, or get VERY lucky when throwing it.
[Spike grenades, when they go off, launch Spikes in the direction the grenade is facing. Basically if the grenade faces up, the spikes fire up]
[A 'sticky' hit is when you hit another player with the grenade, it results in an instant kill, no matter how strong the players life or shields are.]

We use the Battle Rifle as the primary starting weapon because it allows you to defend yourself from your spawn in virtually any situation.

...Translation behind this change: OMG SOMEONE KILLED ME WITH THE BATTLE RIFLE AND I WUZ 2 STUPID OR SLO 2 FIND ONE! I QUIT MLG!!!

Damage has also been increased to 110% to help increase the speed of the game.
Shield Recharge Rate was set to 90% in an effort to speed up the game. Here is the reasoning behind the change: If two players fight each other and one gains the upperhand, but the other runs away, the player who gained the upper hand is given an extra split second (7/9 of a second to be exact) before their opponent's shields are fully charged, should they choose to pursue.

Refer to 'N1'
Simply put: THIS HANDS THE ADVANTAGE TO THE LUCKY PLAYER.
Paradox #1!
This is of course assuming both players are equal at dodging, shooting, etc, and one player gets the upper hand, it's Luck, pure and simple.

Each piece of equipment was removed for individual reasons. Here
