I was hoping that I wouldn't have to do one of these for a month, since Wednesday was the end of the semester for me. I don't start up again until the middle of January, and then I have only 15 weeks until I'm done.

10 days away from Christmas and I still have an assload of shopping to do. I know, I know...in the end it doesn't matter to the people that I am shopping for what I get them, but I still try. I know I also drive them nuts by having no idea what I want them to get me. Honestly, I need very little. Good health, good friends, etc. Can't think of anything else really.
For now, I will relent on telling Wisconsin to fuck off once again. Instead, I will tell Minnesota to fuck off. Seriously. You're idiots. I could have drove up there, got the boots, drove back here and given them to the guy by the time you actually got the frigging transaction number. I'd rather call an Indiana store, and they all suck hard.
I hate checks. I mean I REALLY hate checks. I'm at work, I've got a line from the customer service desk almost all the way back to footwear, and instead of being quick, some asstard has to whip out the checkbook and write as slow as possible. How I haven't turned green and ripped my pants I have no idea. Then they take forever because they feel the need to balance their checkbook right there. Hey guys, join me in the 21st century and just get a check card. Swipe it and it's done.
I'm 24 and that shit is still creepy as hell to me.

I make a shitty leader. The camo jacket that I have worn for...about 8 years now has a drill sargent patch on it, but I find it hard to actually give orders to people. I'm still stuck in the mindframe that I was when I was still trapped in sHell: I actually had to to everything there. Now, not so much, but I still act like that sometimes. Yes, I look like the type that would bark orders and people do listen to me when I tell them something, but there are also people that just go "yeah whatever" when I tell them to do something. I'm a contradiction like that sometimes.
...that gives me an idea for an article.
