I have no smegging clue about this one

See what happens when you like monkeys?
No one is going to get that. Well, no one that reads this anyway.
Maybe one person.
Anyway...
New year has rolled around for a few days. The blog just went over 900 views.
Gee, wonder who that was? >_>
Since this is the slow time of the year over at Gander, like I said earlier, my hours have been cut to almost nothing. So what does Burgess do when he has some time on his hands and not a lot to do?
He gets some writing done for one, so as many times as I keep saying it with no results, Therapy is coming.
He also goes home. Really, why would I want to hang around where I am when I see this every day that I look out of my apartment window....

...when I could come back to the more familiar and see this?

There are fields, Neo. Endless fields...
It's weird to actually have some free time. It's one thing that I never seem to have enough of. In my mind, there are two commodities that if you have the opportunity to get ahold of, it's land (y'know they're not making it anymore) and time. This last half of the year it's something that I haven't been in short supply of, I've just had none.
There's also been cases where I've noticed that I've been too slow on things. Too slow on picking up on signals, too slow on reacting to other signals, too slow on figuring things out.
Patience is a virtue, but in some cases it can also be a curse.
That is neither here nor there though. Like I said, I got a good deal of time off, so I came home. I left the apartment in the care of Mini Moose...

...and came back to the windmill.
I'm not making fun of the town because like 90% of it is Dutch. That would be too easy to do since almost everyone in the town has one of several last names, like Houzenga, Huizenga, Wiebenga, Wiersema...and none of them are related to each other. I'm not even making fun of the town because if you try to do anything that even looks like work on Sunday they'll come and beat your ass.
I'm making fun of the town because there's an actual smegging windmill.

...in case you haven't noticed by now, yes this is a very picture centered blog post. I get a camera and I go crazy with it, what can I tell ya.
Not oddly there's no pics of me that've turned up yet.
You would think that with all this time on my hands that I would also be able to get some sleep since there's nothing that should be keeping me up that I have to worry about getting done.
That however is not the case. If anything, I'm getting even less sleep, which I thought was impossible. Realistically, the only time that I do get any sleep is when I come back home. There's probably something that I should be able to figure out in that, but I don't want to right now. Doing that would keep me up even more if I let myself know the answer.
I'm not even sure if there was a point to me doing this blog entry. Y'know, it seems like the only time that I ever make one is when I have some grand point to make about life or myself or someone else or whatever else. As good as I can be at doing that, I guess there's also a little need to just do something that serves no purpose.
I sympathize with that.
Hm....guess this turned out like Random Thoughts, but only even more convoluted and full of nonsensical gibberish. Maybe tomorrow I'll come up with something a little better. Probably something about work and how I am a supervillain there (it's not what you think, trust me. Said very tongue in cheek), or before I go on a quest for finding my way with something, I will say my piece on what ultimately led me off the track and more on it.
Should be interesting.
Or not.
Whatever.
