No, means no... but I'll ask again anyway.
Yeah, my first article... in months. Probably better this way as I don't feel like I'm on a time limit.
Anyway, this gem was inspired by many little events in my life: You hate when someone asks you something, you say no, and they keep asking you? Well, I do. I dislike it a lot.
When I say no, I mean no. Bombarding me with the same question isn't going to change my decision, rather, you're solidifying my initial response of "no". Now, I won't really mind maybe a follow up question of "Why not?", but most of the time, I end up hearing one trying to convince me at least 20 times. Whether it be my parents, or brother, it matters not.
I especially dislike when one sinks to the level of "threatening" me with something if I don't change my mind, such as saying they'll do this, or tell someone this. You'll hate me for it? Cool. You'll tell my mom that I'm mean. Great. You're not going to talk to me ever again. Probably better off for me in the long run. Honestly, I miss the days where people would respect your decision and not question it all the time and resort to low methods to change your mind.
This a bit on the short-side? Probably, but I'm writing on spur of the moment, my most favored way. Actually... very short, so short that I'm feeling ashamed of myself.
